Why I’m Not Getting a Droid Today | Gadget Lab | Wired.com
This is a real article written for Wired Magazine about a guy who is NOT going to buy the Droid for 2 major reasons. These are the features he lists as the benefits of the Droid over the iPhone:
- Almost double screen resolution
- Better voice quality with GVoice integration
- Simple initial setup
- Faster and more reliable Verizon 3G network
- Comparable UI features
- Similar browsing experience (sans pinch zoom)
- Improved on screen keyboard
His reasons for NOT making the switch are absurd:
- Slide-out keyboard.
- No Tweetie / Instapaper app
I’m personally a fan of both phones, but come on. Seriously?

This is a note from today’s class outline. It could have been just a possibly suggestive pun, until I saw the hilarious quotes around “in Him”. I’d like to think that this is a secret joke that my professor threw into the outline for kicks, hoping that no one would notice.
